The Perennial Leader Project

The Perennial Leader Project (PLP) is dedicated to providing tools for the art of living.

Who We Are

Two thousand years ago, the philosopher Seneca wrote to a friend, “No one ever became wise merely by chance.” These words remain true today. But what does it actually mean to be wise? How does one go about living the ‘good’ life?

J.W. Bertolotti, a self-described reader, writer, and seeker, founded PLP in 2020 after retiring from the United States Air Force because he saw a deep need to explore the art of living. He believes that wisdom (or tools for the art of living) can deepen connection and meaning in our complex world.

OUR MISSION

Introduce wisdom and practices to help us live our highest good.

What We Do

Our programs are focused on the common good. As Marcus Aurelius advised, “Meditate often on the interconnectedness and mutual interdependence of all things in the universe. For in a sense, all things are mutually woven together and therefore have an affinity for each other...” Searching for wisdom has never been a solo endeavor; therefore, our tools for the art of living are designed to bring together seekers and curious minds interested in living their highest good.
